Ivan McDorfleton Amigurumi

If you've been reading the "Rain" webcomic, chances are you've seen this fellow being snuggled by Ana, aka "The January Girl".

 

This is a miniature amigurumi of Ivan McDorfleton, the purple octupus with a classy yellow bow tie. He is about 10 inches in length from the top of head to tips of his tentacles and about 3" wide from cheek to plushy cheek.

 

Ivan was created through amigurumi crochet techniques with acrylic, non-piling yarn and Poly-fil fiber stuffing. His curly tentacles bounce right back after being pulled (I should be embarrassed by how much this entertained me!)

I want to make a large version of Ivan as well, so that he can be squeezed the way Ana does.
